wen i read it in da class, i was like..OMG!!lol
the story is "The Lottery" written by Shirley Jackson.
most of americans read this story in elementary school or junior high.
i dunno this is fiction or not.
... but i was dead scared, and the ending is like awesome.haha
maybe u can find it on the internet if u put da name of the story in google, yahoo, or somethin.

this isnt a novel but a short story. i could read through it whithin a class (its 50 minutes). i hope u can enjoy that!!
